The Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Farm Liaison Officer (Fixed Term Contract) within our Product team in Mallow, Co. Cork. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to be involved in a major new product launching in the Agricultural Industry.

 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Scheduling weekly/ monthly visits with the Farmer Core Group as required
  • Collect relevant data from the Core group
  • Build a relationship and drive engagement with the Core Group
  • Ability to extract relevant information from discussions and present to the Project team
  • Ensure the role is carried out pro-actively with energy, commitment, professionalism, and discretion, quickly adapting to the role
  • Maintain customer confidentiality
  • Travel in the Munster area will be required.
  • Any other duties as required

Applicants for this position must have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Agriculture
  • Farm Management experience
  • An Interest in technology
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an inquisitive nature
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Full Driving License
  • Vehicle Owner- travel within the Munster area will be required
    (Fixed Term Contract)

Our aim is to be the trusted partner in genetics and decision support, adding measurable value for herd owners.

The Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Herd Management Quality Officer (Permanent, Full Time) within our Herd Management team in Mallow, Co. Cork. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to be involved with an ambitious and fast-growing company.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Overall responsibility for the Quality of Milk Samples from Farm Field Team to Lab
  • Analyzing results and ensuring anomalies are addressed immediately
  • Deal with all quality related farm queries in a timely manner
  • Generating and Analysing Reports
  • Ensuring Farm visits at Milking Times are carried out from a Quality perspective and suggestions highlighted to the farmer.
  • Lead and conduct quality inspections of outsourced contract laboratory facilities.
  • Compile inspection reports to include findings, corrections, and process improvements
  • Track corrective actions and planned action agreements from inspection to closure
  • Participate in continuous evaluation and improvement of all quality aspects in Milk Recording and Herd Health
  • Be flexible to meet the needs of the growing business, using technical expertise, skills, knowledge, and experience as required.
  • Recruitment and Training of Milk Recorders

Applicants for this position must have:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or Bachelor of Food Science
  • Understanding of Dairy Farming an advantage
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and IT Savvy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
